
Food glorious food. The food we had during farewell party one of my collegue. seem like one by one gone. Snce i've been here, 3 engineers already resigning. And more to go.
When i'm taking HRM during my final year, lecturer once asked us bout our priority for job. Mean whether its salary,job satisfaction, benefits, work-life balance and such such. Most of us said Job satisfaction is important. How we gonna survive 8-long-hours per day and do it again the next day for 5 days in a row and do it again and again and again if we hate our job. Sure enough all we can see is burden and all we can hear is our own non-complaint.
Well salary is so damn important. The very first thing that come to mind when we got job offer. If we feel we are being underpaid, we feel demotivated to come to work. Whats the point being a top performer when the salary we get by the end of the month is not worth it. Maybe we survive for a few months while searching for another alternative at other companies. Dont blame us if we r leaving due to underpaid. It is a damn fact that we need money to survive this expensive world.
For work-life balance,maybe now we still dont find it important coz we still single. When we married and have children, this will become our priority after salary.
Why the hell am i writing about HRM lecture here. My lecturer will be proud to know that i still apply my HRM knowledge in my worklife. :-P
